Scroll frames are sometimes used for large or unusual sized canvases (stockings, belts, hat bands, lumbar sized pillows, etc).

There are 3 componants to the scroll frame - the side extender bars, the scroll rods and the knobs. 

These oak knobs are sold 4 to a pack and are used to attach the scroll rods to the side extender bars.
