Scroll frames are sometimes used for large or unusual sized canvases (stockings, belts, hat bands, lumbar sized pillows, etc).

There are 3 components to the scroll frame - the side extender bars, the scroll rods and the knobs. 

Side extender bars are the pieces that hold the scroll rods apart. They come 2 bars to a pack and are available in 6" and 9".
