Learn 4 different specialty stitches that are great for backgrounds!
This class is meant for any needle-pointer looking to expand their knowledge or beginners who have already stitched their first canvas and are looking to try decorative stitches for the first time.
Class length is 2 hours and class size is 8 people.
Stitches that will be taught:
- T-Stitch
- Cashmere Stitch
- Horizontal Parisian Stitch
- Cross Stitch
Kit includes:
- Project bag
- Embroidery scissors
- 13 mesh canvas
- Needle
- Needle Threader
- Silk & Ivory skein (x3)
- Stitch guide
What you need to bring:
Nothing - all materials will be provided.
About Your Instructor
Allie East is excited to be your teacher for this class! She began stitching earlier this year at Howdy Honey and quickly fell in love with the art of needlepoint. You can often find Allie working in the shop with the other honeys on weekends or evenings! She is excited to share her tips and techniques to make stitching easy and enjoyable for all skill levels.

**Parking in front of the store is limited (we have 5 spots.) There is free street parking on 18th street west of Durham and a paid parking lot to the right of the nail salon on 18th street.
